Pranab Mukherjee Congratulates Indian Cricket Team for Lord's Success

Cricbuzz: President Pranab Mukherjee has complimented the Indian cricket group for its notable win against England at Lord's and said the country was pleased with the accomplishment which emerged after a hole of 28 years.

In his message to skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the President said "Please pass on my healthy congrats and all the best to all parts of your group on the heavenly accomplishment of winning the simply closed Test Match against England at Lord's."

"The country is glad for this notable accomplishment which has emerged after a crevice of 28 years. I wish Team India proceeded with achievement in the arrangement and future matches," he said. India enlisted a noteworthy 95-run win over England on the fifth and last day of the second cricket Test at Lord's on Monday.

India's last Test triumph at Lord's had come in June 1986 when the Kapil Dev headed group had beaten the English side by five wickets.
